Out of love for the traditional craft and the steady pursuit for perfection, our studio is known far beyond the borders of Luxembourg. Our stained-glass windows and our glass designs (glass mosaics, concrete glazing, collages, ...) are inspired by religious, allegorical, historical themes or by artistic styles such as Art Nouveau, Art Deco, figurativism, abstract and contemporary art. Of course, the designs can also be based on the very individual ideas of the customer. There are no limits to creativity!
In our studio, you can discover a variety of glass types: antique glass, mouth-blown glass, translucent glass, opaque glass, but also glass sheets in over thousand different colours, shades and textures.
The different glass types allow us to perform various kinds of work. Be it for religious architecture such as churches, chapels, cemeteries, for private homes or public buildings.
We have collaborated with numerous artists:
We restore stained and leaded glass windows of any kind. They come from churches, parishes, religious communities or private individuals.
In the case of a restoration, we preserve as many original parts as possible and replace the damaged pieces true to the original.
To better preserve the restored glass panels, they can be installed in insulating glazing. In this way, they are well protected and easy to clean.
Examples of restorations:
All stained and leaded glass panels, whether antique or new, can be installed between the two glass panes of double glazing. So, security as well as heat and sound insulation can be guaranteed. It is even possible to install the glass panels in a triple glazing and thus to use them in a passive house.
There is also the option of using laminated glass to increase resistance and security. With this system we have, in particular, restored the choir area of the Notre-Dame Cathedral of Luxembourg.
